'Babushka' Notecards
This contemporary Babushka doll design draws inspiration from the beautiful Mid Century patterns and a little Russian doll given to me by my mother when I was pregnant with my eldest boy. I still have the doll, albeit a little worn, and it sits on my desk everyday.
As with all my designs, the Babushka notecard was created in my little studio by the sea; starting life as sketch, then developed as a lino print and finally digitally crafted to create the unique Flowers for Susie colour palette.
The notecard pack contains 6 different Babushka A6 cards in my unique Flowers for Susie mid century palette. A high quality print using water based inks on premium 260gsm matt white soft textured card it comes with a craft card envelope. The cards and envelopes are bound by a simple paper band so are totally recyclable.
